The CN490 is a 1/32 DIN controller that offers advanced fuzzy logic algorithms to overcome the inadequacies of standard PID controllers; all in a package that is
1/2 the size of a 1/16 DIN controller and at a very economical price.
Fuzzy logic technology enables a process to reach its predetermined setpoint in the shortest time possible with an absolute minimum of overshoot and undershoot during start up conditions and during a process disturbance. The fuzzy logic works with the autotune function in the sense that the value of the PID parameters chosen by the controller are used as a starting point for all decisions made by the fuzzy logic intelligence. The end result of this extra layer of "intelligence" is that the process will maintain a rock-steady setpoint and stay there.
The CN490 offers many advanced features not available in any other 1/32 DIN controller and consequently, makes it unique in its field.
The CN490 is designed to meet the needs of today's demanding applications by offering unlimited control flexibility in a compact and economical 1/32 DIN package.
